Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Upon your arrival at Marrakech airport, we will be waiting to take you to your riad in the heart of the medina. Depending on your arrival time, you will have free time for a first taste of the magical Jemaa el-Fnaa square.
Day 2: Guided Tour of Marrakech
After breakfast, a local guide will accompany you to discover the secrets of the "Red City." You will visit the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque (exterior), and lose yourself in the labyrinthine souks.
Day 3: Marrakech → Aït Ben Haddou → Dades Gorge
We begin the journey south, crossing the impressive High Atlas Mountains. We will visit the famous Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a movie filming location. We will continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses to spend the night in the Dades Gorge.
Day 4: Dades Gorge → Todra Gorge → Merzouga Desert
We will head to the spectacular Todra Gorge. Then, we will continue into the desert, where camels await to take us across the dunes of Erg Chebbi to a luxury camp.
Day 5: Exploring the Merzouga Desert
Spend the day exploring the desert region by 4x4. Visit the village of Khamlia to listen to Gnawa music, share tea with a nomadic family, and search for fossils. Enjoy another night under the starry Sahara sky.
Day 6: Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Fez
After sunrise, we travel north. We will cross the lush Ziz Valley and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, where we may spot Barbary macaques. Arrival in Fez in the afternoon.
Day 7: Guided Tour of Fez
A full day to explore the medina of Fez, the oldest and largest in Morocco, with a local guide. You will discover its madrasas, the Chouara tannery, and its bustling souks.
Day 8: Fez → Meknes → Volubilis → Chefchaouen
We depart for Meknes to visit its monuments. Then, we will explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis before heading to the impressive blue city of Chefchaouen, in the Rif Mountains.
Day 9: Chefchaouen → Rabat → Casablanca
Enjoy the morning in Chefchaouen. In the afternoon, we will travel to the capital, Rabat, for a visit to its main monuments, and then continue to Casablanca for the night.
Day 10: Casablanca → Marrakech or Departure
In the morning, we will visit the majestic Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. Afterward, we will transfer you back to Marrakech or directly to Casablanca airport for your departure flight, concluding this unforgettable journey.
