Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Fez
Upon your arrival at Fez airport, we will welcome you and take you to your riad in the medina to settle in.
Day 2: Guided Tour of Fez
A full day with a local guide to explore the medina of Fez, one of the largest and oldest in the world. You will visit the madrasas, souks, and the famous tannery.
Day 3: Fez → Ifrane → Merzouga Desert
We travel south, crossing the Middle Atlas. We will stop in Ifrane and its cedar forests. Upon arriving in Merzouga, a camel ride will take you to your camp for the night.
Day 4: Exploring the Merzouga Desert
A full day by 4x4 to explore the region: the village of Khamlia (Gnawa music), nomadic families, and desert landscapes. Enjoy another magical night under the starry Sahara sky.
Day 5: Merzouga → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley
After sunrise, we head to the impressive Todra Gorge. We will continue along the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs to the Dades Valley, where we will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 6: Dades Valley → Aït Ben Haddou → Marrakech
We continue toward Ouarzazate and the famous Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou. Finally, we will cross the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech.
Day 7: Guided Tour of Marrakech
A local guide will show you the secrets of the "Red City": the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, Jemaa el-Fnaa square, and the colorful souks.
Day 8: Excursion to Essaouira
Today we will take a day trip to the charming coastal town of Essaouira. Enjoy its medina, the fishing port, and its relaxed atmosphere. Return to Marrakech in the afternoon.
Day 9: Marrakech → Casablanca → Rabat
We leave Marrakech and head to the coast. We will make a stop in Casablanca to see the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque before arriving in Rabat, the capital, where we will spend the night.
Day 10: Rabat → Chefchaouen
In the morning, we will visit the highlights of Rabat (Hassan Tower, Kasbah of the Oudayas). Then, we will travel to the impressive blue city of Chefchaouen for the night.
Day 11: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fez
Enjoy the morning in Chefchaouen. Afterward, we will head back to Fez, stopping at the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the imperial city of Meknes.
Day 12: Departure from Fez
After breakfast, and depending on your flight time, you will have free time for last-minute shopping before we transfer you to the airport for your departure.
