Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Tangier → Tetouan → Chefchaouen
We'll pick you up and begin the journey to the Rif mountains. After a stop in Tetouan, we'll arrive in the stunning blue city of Chefchaouen for the night.
Day 2: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fez
Enjoy the morning in Chefchaouen. Then, we'll head to the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the imperial city of Meknes before arriving in Fez, where we'll stay.
Day 3: Guided Tour of Fez
A local expert guide will show you the secrets of Fez's ancient medina, one of the largest and oldest in the world, visiting its tanneries, madrasas, and souks.
Day 4: Fez → Ifrane → Merzouga Desert
We'll travel south, crossing the Middle Atlas. After stopping in Ifrane and the cedar forests, and crossing the Ziz Valley, we'll arrive in Merzouga, where a camel ride will take us to the desert camp.
Day 5: Exploring the Merzouga Desert
A full day in 4x4 to explore the region: the Gnawa music village of Khamlia, nomadic families, and desert landscapes. Enjoy another magical night under the starry Sahara sky.
Day 6: Merzouga → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley
After sunrise, we'll head to the Todra Gorges. Then, we'll follow the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs to the Dades Valley, where we'll dine and spend the night.
Day 7: Dades Valley → Aït Ben Haddou → Marrakech
We'll continue to Ouarzazate and the famous Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah. Finally, we'll cross the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass in the High Atlas to arrive in Marrakech.
Day 8: Guided Tour of Marrakech
A local guide will show you the secrets of the "Red City", including Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the souks.
Day 9: Free Day in Marrakech
Enjoy a free day to explore Marrakech at your own pace. You can visit the Majorelle Gardens, relax in a hammam, or take an optional excursion to the coastal town of Essaouira.
Day 10: Marrakech → Casablanca → Rabat
We'll head to the coast, stopping in Casablanca to see the impressive Hassan II Mosque. In the afternoon, we'll arrive in Rabat, the capital, where we'll spend the night.
Day 11: Rabat → Asilah → Tangier
In the morning, we'll visit Rabat's iconic landmarks. Then, we'll begin the journey back to Tangier along the coast, stopping in the artistic town of Asilah.
Day 12: Departure from Tangier
After breakfast, and depending on your flight time, you'll have free time before we transfer you to the airport for your departure. End of the grand tour.
