Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Tangier → Chefchaouen → Fez
We will pick you up in Tangier and travel into the Rif Mountains to visit the stunning blue city of Chefchaouen. After exploring its picturesque streets, we will continue our journey to the imperial city of Fez, where you will spend the night in a traditional riad.
Day 2: Fez → Ifrane → Midelt → Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we leave Fez and head south. We will cross the Middle Atlas, stopping in Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou. After passing through the Ziz Valley, we will arrive in Merzouga. A camel ride will take us to our camp for a magical night under the stars.
Day 3: Exploring the Merzouga Desert
Today you will dedicate the day to exploring the secrets of the desert. In a 4x4 vehicle, you will visit the village of Khamlia to listen to Gnawa music, share tea with nomadic families, and discover unique desert landscapes. This deep immersion will give you a better understanding of life in the Sahara. You will spend a second night in the desert.
Day 4: Merzouga → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley
After a spectacular sunrise, we head to the impressive Todra Gorge. Then, we will follow the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs" to reach the Dades Valley, famous for its rocky landscapes. Dinner and accommodation at a hotel in the valley.
Day 5: Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou → Marrakech
On our last day, we will continue to Ouarzazate and visit the iconic Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou. Finally, we will cross the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass in the High Atlas to arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where your incredible journey ends.
