Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Rabat → Meknes → Fez
We begin our journey from Rabat, heading to the imperial city of Meknes to admire its monumental Bab Mansour gate. After a visit, we'll continue to Fez, the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco, where you'll check into a traditional riad for the night.
Day 2: Fez → Ifrane → Merzouga Desert
Today, we'll travel south. We'll cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, "Morocco's Switzerland," and the cedar forest of Azrou. After crossing the Ziz Valley, we'll arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon. A camel ride will take us through the Erg Chebbi dunes to our camp for a magical night under the stars.
