Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Tangier → Chefchaouen
We'll pick you up in Tangier and start with a visit to the city's most iconic sites, such as Cape Spartel. Then, we'll travel through the Rif Mountains to the stunning city of Chefchaouen. You'll have the afternoon to lose yourself in its world-famous blue streets. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Chefchaouen → Fez
Enjoy the morning exploring Chefchaouen at your own pace. After lunch, we'll head to the imperial city of Fez. Upon arrival, you'll check in to a traditional riad in the heart of the medina.
Day 3: Guided Tour of Fez and Journey to Merzouga
In the morning, a local guide will reveal the secrets of the Fez medina. In the afternoon, we'll begin the long but fascinating journey south, crossing the Middle Atlas and admiring the changing landscapes as we head towards the desert. Late arrival in Merzouga for dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel at the foot of the dunes.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley
In the morning, you'll have the option to explore the dunes by 4x4 or simply relax. In the afternoon, a camel ride will take us to a camp in the heart of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset. Afterwards, we'll return to our vehicle and head towards the Todra Gorge and the Dades Valley, where we'll spend the night.
Day 5: Dades Valley → Aït Ben Haddou → Marrakech
We continue along the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs towards Ouarzazate and the famous Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally, we'll cross the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass in the High Atlas to reach Marrakech.
Day 6: Guided Tour of Marrakech and End of Tour
In the morning, a local guide will show you the secrets of Marrakech, including Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the Bahia Palace and the souks. The tour will end after the visit, leaving you free to explore further on your own or to head to the airport for your transfer.
