Detailed Itinerary

The day trip begins in the morning with pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. Our journey takes us south, into the mountains of the High Atlas. We'll enjoy an impressive landscape as we ascend, passing through small villages and fertile valleys.

We'll arrive in Imlil, a vibrant village that serves as a base for hikers and climbers heading to Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Here, we'll meet our local guide. You'll have the option to take a 1-2 hour hike (or a mule ride, if preferred) through the walnut and cherry forests, passing through Berber villages and taking in the breathtaking views of the valley.

The highlight of the hike is the arrival at a Berber family home in the village of Armed, where you'll be greeted with legendary Moroccan hospitality. You'll enjoy a delicious homemade lunch (usually a tagine or couscous) served on a terrace with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.

After a mint tea and some relaxation, we'll begin our descent back to Imlil. In the afternoon, we'll embark on the journey back to Marrakech, where we'll drop you off at your accommodation, refreshed by the pure mountain air.
